Filling Technology
When filling powders and granulates, suitable systems help to prevent dust and thus health hazards, for example from hazardous substances or active ingredients. Whether in small containers such as powder inhalers or cans or in large-volume containers such as canisters, sacks, IBCs, drums or tanks - it is important to find the right technology to prevent segregation or clumping. There are also suitable filling solutions for non-solid goods and even for lumpy goods, such as vacuum fillers for viscous or pasty products. Special filling devices for gases are used to fill cans, bottles or tanks. In the pharmaceutical and food industries, hygienic or aseptic requirements often have to be met in all of this.
